Intra-national Similarities and Differences in Social Work and Their Significance for Developing European Dimensions of Research and Education

“…Social work has been consolidated in the French speaking part of Belgium on the Bachelor level, and the French community government preferred in 2013 to create a new professional Master in social work and engineering 7 at the University Colleges of Applied Sciences (cf. Haute Ecoles) which were linked to newly recognized (but not financed) "applied" research centres (Laloy 2019).
