La mise en pratique d'une sylviculture en forêt de Saint-Germain-en-Laye au XVIIIe s. et le cas de la Grande Plantation

Abstract: The Saint-Germain en Laye forest, traditionally consecrated to hunting, found itself object to forestry duc to a forestry contest in the XVIIIth century. The change in the way forests were taken care of and the "Grande Plantation " of 1751 allow us to understand the transformation from administrative procedures to practical forestry, even before the apparence of official forestry in the XlXth century.
