This research is motivated by the fact that most of the people who farmed cashew nuts in Lalemba, West Muna Regency have the primary goal of meeting the needs of daily life aincreasingase household income. This study aims to determine the income of cashew farming and the household income of cashew farmers. This research was conducted in Lalemba Village, Lawa District, West Muna Regency, from May to December 2021. The variables in this study included age, education level, number of family members, land area, cashew farming income, and household income. This research uses farm income analysis and household income analysis. The sample of guava farmers was 38 respondents. The results of the study showed that the average income of cashew farmers was IDR. 6,302,119/Ha/Year. The.a verage household income is IDR. 18,459,883/year. The average household income consists of other farming income of IDR. 7,039.080/Ha/Year, and the average non-agricultural income is IDR. 5,018,684/Year.

<p><em>The area of tobacco plantations owned by farmers in Wungurejo Village does not guarantee the high yields produced so that it greatly affects the household income of farmers. The purpose of this study was to determine how much tobacco farming contributes to farmers' household income and what are the driving and inhibiting factors for tobacco farming in Wungurejo Village. Determination of respondents was done by purposive sampling method amounted to 38 tobacco farmers. The research phase starts from the pre-field stage, the field work stage, and the data analysis stage. This study uses a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach. The results showed that in general the total household income of tobacco farmers was 60.53% with a total income of > 5,000,000-7,500,000 per month. Tobacco farming income gave the largest contribution, namely 58.26% of the total household income. This shows that more than half of the household income of farmers in Wungurejo Village comes from tobacco farming. Factor driving farmers in the Wungurejo to run a tobacco farm is suitable climatic conditions, the status of private land ownership, and availability of labor. While the inhibiting factors experienced by farmers such as limited business capital, lack of understanding of farmers about tobacco cultivation, and the government has never held counseling on tobacco cultivation.</em></p>

Usahatani cabe jamu umumnya dijadikan sumber pendapatan utama petani di Desa Pakandangan Sangra, Kecamatan Bluto, Kabupaten Sumenep. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis profitabilitas usahatani cabe jamu, perbedaan pendapatan antara usahatani cabe jamu dengan pendapatan di luar usahatani cabe jamu, serta besarnya nilai kontribusi pendapatan usahatani cabe jamu terhadap total pendapatan rumah keluarga petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sebanyak 35 responden petani cabe jamu diambil untuk dijadikan sampel, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Analisis deskriptif untuk menganalisis data karakteristik responden dan analisis usahatani untuk menghitung pendapatan usahatani cabe jamu. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji one sample t-test dan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa profitabilitas usahatani cabe jamu sebesar 82,15%. Terdapat perbedaan antara rata-rata pendapatan usahatani cabe jamu dengan rata-rata pendapatan di luar usahatani cabe jamu. Kontribusi pendapatan usahatani cabe jamu terhadap total pendapatan rumah tangga petani sebesar 60,08%. Hal ini terlihat bahwa usahatani cabe jamu berkontribusi tinggi terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Maka saran yang dapat diberikan adalah petani perlu memaksimalkan lahan untuk ditanami pohon cabe jamu agar pendapatan yang diperoleh meningkat. Selain itu perlu adanya pendampingan teknis dari penyuluh pertanian kepada petani cabe jamu agar petani dapat mengembangkan usahatani cabe jamu dengan optimal.
