“…O divertículo de Kommerell é uma anomalia congênita rara usualmente associada ao arco aórtico à direita, artéria subclávia esquerda aberrante, e em geral diagnosticado de maneira incidental em pacientes assintomáticos. Nesse caso, como a paciente apresentava-se com queixa de palpitações, sintoma não relacionado a esses achados, alguns aspectos levantaram a suspeita do diagnóstico de origem anômala da ASCE como a ausência de bifurcação do tronco braquiocefálico e a observação de um vaso arterial ascendente emergindo da artéria torácica descendente [1][2][3][4][5][6] .
