Introduction Stressful circumstances presented by the Covid-19 pandemic led to reduced levels of study concentration among students, and these conditions had been linked with dopamine levels. Objectives This study aimed to evaluate the impact of aromatherapy gelatin cold compress in increasing the study concentration of students by decreasing stress levels and elevating dopamine levels during the Covid-19 pandemic online class. Methods The study participants consisted of 42 students, who were selected using the simple random sampling method. Subsequently, the participants were comparably divided into control and treatment groups. Compress intervention was given to the treatment group on the forehead for 10 min before studying online. The Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and Stroop test were then used to determine stress and concentration levels of the students, respectively. The catecholamine fractionated urine was used to measure dopamine levels. Analysis was carried out using Paired T-test and Independent T-test with α = 0.05 and CI = 95%. Results The mean value of the VAS before and after treatment was 5.81 ± 2.48 and 5.28 ± 2.61 in the control ( p = 0.205), as well as 6.28 ± 1.62 and 4.38 ± 1.89 in the treatment group ( p = 0.000). The mean interference score of the Stroop test before and after treatment was 13.16 ± 1.05 and 13.22 ± 1.31 among the controls ( p = 0.947), while 13.35 ± 6.94 and 8.92 ± 5.91 were recorded in the treatment group ( p = 0.000). The average dopamine levels before and after the intervention were 145.50 ± 7.94 mg/mL and 146.65 ± 8.23 mg/mL creatinine among the controls ( p = 0.542), while 145.35 ± 1.03 mg/mL and 265.18 ± 1.27 mg/mL creatinine were obtained in the treatment group ( p = 0.01). Furthermore, the results showed that the creatinine levels were within the normal ranges. The Independent T-test of stress, concentration, and dopamine levels obtained p = 0.024, p = 0.010, and p = 0.090, respectively. Conclusion Aromatherapy gelatin cold compress was effective in increasing study concentration by decreasing stress levels and increasing dopamine levels during the Covid-19 pandemic online class.

Introduction: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), also known as lupus, is a complex chronic autoimmune disease that affects the immune system and various organs of the body. The cause of this disease is unknown and many lupus patients experience stress as a result of this condition. Lupus patients rely heavily on their families for help in dealing with their illness. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between family support and stress levels in people with lupus at the Kupu Parahita Indonesia Foundation. Method: The research was conducted on 92 people with lupus using a cross-sectional approach, with data collected in the single meeting. A questionnaire was used to collect data on family support and stress levels, which were then correlated using the Spearman rank correlation test with CI=95% and ?=0.05. Results: The majority of people with lupus at the Kupu Parahita Foundation received good family support and experienced mild stress. The correlation between family support and stress levels was significant at p=0.000, indicating that the better family support provided to people with lupus, the lower the level of stress experienced by people with lupus. Conclusion: There was a link between family support and the stress level of people with lupus at the Kupu Parahita Indonesia Foundation. Future researchers who want to study family support and stress levels should involve family members and go directly to the respondent's home to learn more about the family support provided to people with lupus.

Este estudio se centra en el análisis de las mediciones de la producción científica sobre turismo en el Ecuador. Se utiliza, para ello, las bases de datos Scopus, Dimensions y Scielo. Mediante el método PRISMA, se lleva a cabo una revisión sistemática de la literatura (RSL). Los hallazgos incluyen clústeres de palabras clave recurrentes, la progresión de la investigación en turismo, a lo largo del tiempo y las redes de colaboración, tanto a nivel internacional como local. El estudio destaca la interdisciplinariedad de estas redes. Así como la riqueza de la cooperación internacional, en contraste con la limitada colaboración local y reflexiona sobre la importanciade la investigación en turismo para su desarrollo y la necesidad de considerar el idioma español para la difusión de los resultados. AbstractThis study examines the metrics of scientific production on tourism in Ecuador, utilizing Scopus, Dimensions, and Scielo databases. The PRISMA method is employed to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR). Key findings encompass clusters of recurrent keywords, the evolution of tourism research over time, and both international and local collaboration networks. The interdisciplinarity of these networks is underscored by the study. Despite the richness of international cooperation, local collaboration remains limited. The study further reflects on the significance of tourism research for its progression and highlights the necessity to include the Spanish language in disseminating results.
