Abstract:The Klinefelter syndrome is a chromosomal aneuploidy caused by additional X chromosomes in men. The diagnosis is made by clinical observation and karyotype examination. Besides other characteristics, the phenotype involves infertility, hypogonadism, gynecomastia, and cognitive alterations, mainly in the language domain.
