Abstract: BackgroundDietary therapies play a crucial role in managing patients, especially those who have specific types of epilepsy, display adverse effects, or are not responding to pharmacological treatments. The ketogenic diet (KD) is a high-fat, restricted carbohydrate, and adequate protein regimen.
