Ketapang Leaf (Terminalia Catappa L.) Metabolite Profiling with Aquadest Fraction Ethanol Extract Using UPLC-MS

Abstract: Ketapang leaves (Terminalia catappa L.) are known for its traditional medicinal function. Ketapang leaves contain saponins, alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, and triterpenoids. In general, polar solvent can increase the production of Ketapang leaves’ active compound. Utilization of a plant as herbal medicine is based on the presence of chemical compounds that have certain pharmacological effects. Therefore, metabolite profiling is needed.
