Indonesian language teachers in schools lack teaching materials. Even teachers don't have HOTS-oriented open materials. It will impact students who have difficulty in learning because they do not have learning resources. Professional educators must be able to develop teaching materials to address the learning objectives of the 2013 Curriculum in any learning situation. The readiness of teachers to carry out the teaching and learning process can be assisted by applying teaching materials that are by the 2013 curriculum. This study aims to conduct a needs analysis survey from various research and development stages to develop and validate products and determine appropriate teaching materials. The stages of research and development are applied from the learning process, analysis of targeted learning outcomes, and analysis of students and their needs. The research subjects consisted of class X students with a population of 185 students and 2 Indonesian language teachers. The number of samples is 28 students, or 15% of the population. The first data collection technique is a questionnaire of student needs and interviews. Based on the findings and discussion, the LKS recommended by researchers is the exposition LKS with a scientific plus approach. Students can practice it and find accurate information for the exposition text with this worksheet. On the other hand, teachers can also unite and facilitate students to construct their knowledge of the text.

Siswa sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memaparkan, menjelaskan, menyampaikan informasi, dan menerangkan sesuatu yang akan dituangkan dalam tulisan teks eksposisi. Hal tersebut membuat siswa cenderung pasif dan merasa bosan dengan proses pembelajaran menulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model picture and picture untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang terdiri dari rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi atau evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 37 orang dengan rincian 22 orang putra dan 15 orang putri. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Dalam mengumpulkan data tersebut, digunakan empat metode, yaitu metode observasi, metode tes, dan metode angket. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data rata-rata nilai keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siklus I yaitu masih banyak siswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah rata-rata (belum berhasil) Pada Siklus II dengan pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi menunjukkan banyak siswa yang mendapatkan nilai di atas rata-rata (tuntas). Disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi meningkat melalui penerapan model picture and picture pada peserta didik. Disarankan kepada guru bahasa Indonesia untuk mengaplikasikan model picture and picture berbasis Tri Hita Karana dapat meningkatkan hasil keterampilan menulis.

The low ability of students to write is due to teachers' need for more use of learning media during the learning process. So to overcome these problems, we need media to help the student learning process. This research aims to develop edutainment monopoly media and its implementation through the course review horay model. This research belongs to the type of development research which was developed using the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model comprises five research stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were two learning material experts and two learning media experts. The test subjects included two teachers, three individual students, and six small group test students. Methods of data collection using test and nontest methods. The data collection instrument used questionnaires and test questions. The techniques used in collecting data are descriptive quantitative analysis, qualitative, and inferential statistics. The study's results, namely assessments from content and learning media experts, obtained very good qualifications. The test results for the two teacher responses scored 91.7% (very good). The results of student responses were 91.94% (very good). The practicality test results scored 99.7% (very practical). The individual trial results were 93.6 (very good). The results of the small group trials were 91% (very good). The t-test results showed significant differences before and after using edutainment monopoly media and its implementation through the course review horay model. Based on these results, monopoly edutainment media and its implementation through the course review horay model can improve students' writing skills.
