Transportation is important in supporting the development of an area. The increasing population growth, the need for transportation facilities will be higher. Surakarta City is a city that is undergoing rapid development and growth, one of the important means to support this development is in the field of transportation. To support the improvement of public transportation services so that people are more efficient and adequate in moving, the city government in collaboration with the Transportation Agency makes mass public transportation facilities that have the name Batik Solo Trans (BST).In this study, the potential demand, ability to pay (ATP) and willingness to pay (WTP) of BST corridor 6 in the shopping sector were analyzed. The selection of BST corridor 6 is because this corridor is a new corridor that passes through quite a lot of shops so that it has a large enough trip pull and there is a high potential passenger demand. Thus, research is needed to analyze the amount of tariffs on the BST corridor 6 in accordance with the land use function of shops in corridor 6. This research uses a survey method. This research data is divided into two, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained from questionnaires that have been distributed to shop employees. Secondary data is obtained through related agencies, and the total population of employees of each shop surveyed. Based on the results of the survey analysis, the total population of shop employees along the BST corridor 6 route is 774 people. The potential demand value obtained from the total shops is 549 people, with details of 170 people already using BST and 379 people who have the potential to use BST. The overall ATP value is Rp 4,872.08. The overall WTP value is Rp 3,273.41.
