Abstract:Background: Lupus nephritis is one of complication of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) which manifests to the kidneys. Lupus nephritis occur in 50-60% of cases in the first ten years of the onset of SLE. Standard therapy for lupus nephritis are immunosuppressive drugs such as corticosteroids and cytostatics.
