Abstract: Indonesia sangat kaya dengan keanekaragaman flora yang potensial untuk terapi herbal, salah satunya tanaman koro benguk (Mucuna pruriens) yang bijinya bisa diolah menjadi tempe sebagai konsumsi harian masyarakat di sekitar Yogyakarta dan Jawa Tengah.
