“…The known lignans were identified as heteroclitin B (2) (Chen et al, 1992), angeloyl-binankadsurin A (3) (Ookawa et al, 1981), kadsurin (4) (Chen et al, 1992), diankadsurinone (5) (Gottlieb et al, 1982;Lu, 2006), acetylschisantherin L (6) (Liu and Li, 1993), kadsurindutin A (7) , (AE)-gomisin M 1 (8) (Ikeya et al, 1982), 5,8-epoxy-6,7-dimethyl 2 0 , 3 0 , 2 00 , 3 00 -dimethylenedioxy-4 0 ,1 00 -dimethoxy-l,2:3,4-dibenzo-1,3-cyclooctadiene (9) (Spencer and Flippen-Anderson, 1981), kadsulignan N (10) (Liu and Li, 1995), schiarisanrin B (11) (Kuo et al, 1997), heteroclitin D (12) (Chen et al, 1992), kadsulignan H (13) (Liu et al, 1992), kadsulignan I (14) (Liu et al, 1992), schiarisanrin A (15) (Kuo et al, 1997), and mesodihydroguaiaretic acid (18) (Ikeya et al, 1979a) by comparison of their spectroscopic data with those previously reported in the literature. Compounds 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 16, and 18 were isolated from this plant for the first time.…”
