K–12/Higher Education Bridge Approach Toward Social Justice: Leadership Reconsidered

Abstract: This chapter addresses the need for collaboration between K-12 and higher education entities and the development of educational leaders who are capable of addressing the critical issues confronting education today. The chapter presents and integrates the research on ways to assist K-12 leaders think broadly about their role that will include purposeful outreach to higher education entities.
