“…A study was done by moabi to assess HCPs knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding disaster preparedness at Johannesburg hospital in South Africa, 2008 found that HCPs at Johannesburg Hospital were aware of disaster preparedness and management, and they had a positive/good attitude toward disaster management; but their practice was poor and need for improvements especially in regard to ongoing training, performance of drills and the frequency of regular updating of the plans [11].
