Joint Spectrum and Power Allocation for NOMA Enhanced Relaying Networks

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the joint resource allocation for the non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-enhanced relaying networks involving the subcarrier pair, subcarrier-user assignment, as well as power allocation. In the NOMA-enhanced relaying networks, the relay is capable of communicating with multiple users on one subcarrier using the NOMA technology. To maximize the system throughput, the joint resource allocation problem is formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem, which is diffi… Show more

“…• Case 1: λ 3 = 0 and λ 4 = 0. We need to check if inconsistency occurs among (20), (21), (22), and (23). For this case, we rearrange the terms in (20) to obtain g 1 λ 1 = P 4 g 2 g 4 λ 2 +λ 5 .…”

“…In this case, the weight maps exploited for the fusion process are represented by a saliency map (computed in the Achanta's way), a saturation map and a contrast map. Similarly, in Reference [82], the authors propose a method to perform underwater image restoration through multiscale multiple images fusion. As in the previous cases, the original image is first processed to correct color and to enhance the contrast properties.…”

“…In the field of wireless communication, relay networks acquired much consideration to provide better coverage and throughput [1,2]. For the efficient utilization of wireless resources to provide good quality of services to the users, resource allocation is considered as an important factor [3,4]. The problem of outage probability and ergodic capacity was studied in energy harvesting relay networks [5].…”
