Joint method using Akamatsu and discrete wavelet transform for image restoration

Abstract: Current technology makes it easy for humans to take an image and convert it to digital content, but sometimes there is additional noise in the image so it looks damaged. The damage that often occurs, like blurring and excessive noise in digital images, can certainly affect the meaning and quality of the image. Image restoration is a process used to restore the image to its original state before the image damage occurs. In this research, we proposed an image restoration method by combining Wavelet transformatio… Show more

“…(ii) Follower's update process: This follows the location of the leading rider for updating the follower's position. It depends on the co-ordinate selector so the location update is done to the chosen values in DM and the mathematical formula is shown in Equation (35). Here, the coordinate selector is denoted as cse and the term dst tm p is the distance traveled by pth rider.…”

“…Moreover, the wavelet decomposition is also useful in identifying singularity information by evaluating the time frequencies of nonstationary signals. DWT 35 has several beneficial features like space‐frequency localization property, multi‐resolution ability, which makes DWT for implementing to the whole image and can be rebuilt in multiple image sizes. The advantages of DWT are that it becomes much easier to filter in or filter out a nonstationary waveform.…”

“…Numerous business cases and applications may require strict full local (private) control over the data and infrastructure [11][12][13][14], yet may pose substantial computing demands, e.g. for document management [15,16], image processing [17,18], surveillance applications [19], education system management [20,21] and process simulation [22]. This is where the private cloud can come into play for both IaaS and PaaS.…”
