Job Scheduling for Cloud Computing Using Neural Networks

Abstract: Cloud computing aims to maximize the benefit of distributed resources and aggregate them to achieve higher throughput to solve large scale computation problems. In this technology, the customers rent the resources and only pay per use. Job scheduling is one of the biggest issues in cloud computing. Scheduling of users' requests means how to allocate resources to these requests to finish the tasks in minimum time. The main task of job scheduling system is to find the best resources for user's jobs, taking into … Show more

“…Indeed, several researchers consider the information systems and in particular the IT and its flexibility as an enabler to achieve the desired competitive advantages, and as a crucial support to operational and strategic business decisions (Al Azmi et al, 2012;Alenezi et al, 2015;Alkalha et al, 2012;Almajali & Tarhini, 2016;Altamony et al, 2012;Kateb et al, 2015;Maqableh & Karajeh, 2014a, 2014bMasa'deh, 2012Masa'deh, , 2013aMasa'deh, , 2013bMasa'deh et al, 2016;Obeidat et al, 2013;Shannak et al, 2010Shannak et al, , 2012bVratskikh et al, 2016); thus further research is required to examine the role of such IT applications in enhancing the managerial decisions. “…This implies that financial measures that emphasize short-term indicators such as profit, turnover, and cash flow are not suitable anymore for measuring organizational performance and as a result non-financial measures have increased in importance (Tseng, 2010;Maqableh et al, 2014).…”
