E-learning refers to the dependence on the technology in education. Applying e-learning in high-education institutions is important for facilitating the educational process. This research identifies obstacles impeding e-learning at the faculties of tourism and hotels in the Egyptian public universities. It depended on primary data through addressing (150) questionnaires to the teaching staff of the mentioned faculties to evaluate their application of e-learning and identify its problems. The research also depended on secondary data related to its subject. The findings revealed that the majority of the mentioned faculties apply e-learning, specially after the recent Corona virus pandemic. However, there are some problems hindering the e-learning effectiveness in these faculties e.g. the inadequate acquaintance with it. Therefore, the research recommends providing clear criteria for e-learning in the mentioned faculties coping with its electronic nature and providing practical workshops about e-learning for the teaching staff, students and parents to raise their awareness about it.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in Yemen public universities. Three academic staff from Hodeida, Amran and Thamar universities were the participants of this study. The qualitative method was employed with one to one interview as an instrument of the data collection. Thematic analysis was employed to identify the patterns that reflect the factors affecting ICT use in universities. The findings revealed that the use of ICTs in Yemen's universities still depends on lecturers self-initiative. The lecturer who has skills of using ICT appeared to have a positive attitude towards the use of ICT in their teaching. There is no type of social influence on lecturer's use of ICT in their teaching. The poor infrastructure, poor facilitating condition and lack of the technical support stand as significant ICT barriers integration in Yemen's Universities. All forms of online communication are absent in all three universities. The participants of this study urged their universities top management to provide a proper facilitating condition and training programs to enable their academic staff to cope up with 21 st -century teaching and technologies.

Learning management system (LMS) helps higher learning institutions to manage their instructional resources and complement their traditional way of teaching. Although LMS survives via students' and instructors' use, its adoption is initiated by the students' satisfaction. Thus, the objectives of this study are to examine the level of LMS satisfaction among university students in a blended learning program and to investigate the factors that may impact their satisfaction. A quantitative research approach via a questionnaire was used in the study. The subjects consisted of undergraduate students in a public university in Yemen. A total of 174 participants were surveyed using a questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression were employed. The results show that the participants have a high level of satisfaction of LMS usage in a blended learning environment. Also the findings indicated that Instructor Attitude, Classmates Attitude, Course Quality, Management Support, and System Quality are significant predictors to students' satisfaction of LMS. Therefore, this study has identified these significant factors in planning, designing and implementing a blended learning to promote and improve students' learning satisfaction.
