ISOLIERUNG DER SUBSTANZEN AUSGLORIOSA SUPERBALEVIN

Abstract

Im Rahmen unserer systematischen (S a n t a v f 1957) Untersuchung colcliicinhaltiger Pflanzen (und ihrer Bestandteile) wandten wir von allem Anfang an unsere Aufmerksamkeit auch der Gloriosa superba zu. Aus den Knollen dieser Pflanze (gesammelt in Ceylon) haben bereits im Jahre 1915 C 1 e W e r , G r e e n U. T U t i n neben Colchicin eine Reihe weiterer Substanzen isoliert. Da das Material aus Gebieten, in denen diese Pflanze wild vorkommt, schwer zugänglich ist, haben wir zuerst die in europäischen Gewächshäusern als Zierpflanze gezogenen Knollen untersucht (S a n t a V f U. B a r t e k 1952). Kürzlich hatten wir nun Gelegenheit, Knollen, Blätter und Blüten der Gloriosa indischer Herkunft zu analysieren (PotESilovA, B a r t o Z o * i U. S a n t a v j 1954; S a n t a v f , K i n c l U. S h i n d e 1957). S u b b a r a t n a m (1952, 1953) führte auch unabhängig von uns die Untersuchung der in Indien wachsenden Knollen durch. Die Samen von Gloriosa superba sind bisher überhaupt nicht untersucht worden, und keiner der genannten Autoren analysierte die Knollen der in Afrika wachsenden Gloriosn superba.
