Isolation and Characterization Montmorillonite Nanoparticles of Aceh Tamiang Bentonite as Patchouli oil Bleaching

Abstract: The montmorillonite (MMT) nanoparticles as patchouli oil bleaching has been prepared from the isolated MMT of Aceh Tamiang bentonite. MMT in bentonite powder was isolated through a top-down isolation method by ultrasonication, sedimentation and high energy milling process. As many as 14% of MMT was successfully isolated and characterized via XRF and XRD.
