Isolates from ancient permafrost help to elucidate species boundaries in Acanthamoeba castellanii complex (Amoebozoa: Discosea)

Abstract: Acanthamoeba castellanii species complex (genotype T4) comprises of more than ten species with unclear synonymy, as molecular phylogeny has several conflicts with published morphological data.
