“…First, we investigated the effect of a surfactants [ethylene glycol monopropyl ether (2-propoxyethanol or C3E1) and ethylene glycol isopropyl ether (2-isopropoxyethanol or i C3E1)] mainly in mixtures with linear C6, C7, and C8 hydrocarbons using isothermal VLE of C3E1 with n -hexane and n -heptane, isobaric VLE of i C3E1 with n -hexane and n -heptane, and isobaric VLE of C3E1 with n -heptane and n -octane . Second, to study the branch effect of alcohols with C3E1, the isobaric VLE of C3E1 with 1-propanol and 1-butanol systems was measured.
