Island Tourism: Vulnerable or Resistant to Overtourism?

Abstract: Islands have long attracted tourists and some islands rank amongst the most visited places in the world. Such popularity has created problems of overdevelopment and tourism at unsustainable levels, leading to the phenomenon of overtourism.
