Islamic Values: The Old and the Young Relationship in the Popular Malay Novels

Abstract: This study focuses on identifying the Islamic values reflected in the relationships between the old and the young generation in Liza Nur's popular novel. Using textual analysis, this study has discovered that the relationships between the old and the young were fostered based on Islamic values where all actions by the main protagonists towards the elderlies in the stories were purely done out of their devotion to Allah s.w.t.
