“…Four‐ to six‐week‐old, male M. coucha , obtained from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, India, were immunized with 50 μg of purified recombinant NALT, LALT, NALT with DAG and LALT with DAG (five animals per group). The amount of dipalmitoyl glycerol in 50 μg of LALT was calculated to be 2 μg; hence, 1 mg/mL concentration of dipalmitoyl glycerol (Sigma Aldrich Chemicals, St. Louis, MO, USA) in propylene glycol was prepared as stock and 2 μL of it is mixed with 48 μg corresponding antigen for administering in Protein + DAG groups. Mastomys were handled in accordance with the institutional guidelines, and the experimental protocol was approved by the responsible institutional animal care committee.…”
