“…Rietveld refinement procedures were applied to XRD patterns using the DBWSTools 2.3 interface . The crystallite size and dislocation concentration of the samples were calculated using the size–strain plot method. The particle size and morphology were observed using field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) (Zeiss SUPRA TM-40, Carl Zeiss), through the detector in-lens (SE) and also addition of a quadrant backscattered electron detector (QBSD) at 30 kV accelerating voltage, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and selected area electron diffraction (SAED) (Tecnai-Spirit-G2-120 kV, and Tecnai-TF20-200 kV, FEI Co.). The interplanar spacings and approximate particle sizes of the ZnO nanoparticles were obtained using the software Digital Micrograph (Gatan Software, Inc.) over the TEM images.…”

“…A perfect crystal is one in which all atoms are in their ideal position and has no imperfections. According to Williamson-Hall, crystal is imperfect due to the size of the finite crystal and their corresponding lattice strain(ε) [33]. Williamson-Hall plot equation to estimate the crystallite size and lattice strain of the samples is as follow [34]:…”

“…The presence of silver in the core exhibits desirable antimicrobial activities and titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) reduces the toxicity of silver with prevention of oxidation. [42] Stabilization of Co-Pt nanocatalyst using click dendrimers render the remarkable synergy that can be utilized in various catalytic reactions like efficient hydrolysis of ammonia borane for evolution of hydrogen. [43] Miller et al studied the production and characterization of four dendrimer complexes-silver-dendrimers (internalized silver moieties with nitrogen groups), silver-dendrimers with carboxylated terminal (surface capped with silver-carboxylate groups), mixed type nanocomposite silver dendrimers (silver ions hosted in interior and exterior-owing to high metal ion loading capacity), and gold-silver metal alloy dendrimers (visible spectrum of silver dendrimers, gold dendrimers, and alloy dendrimers at around 420, 465, and 450 nm respectively).…”
