Investigations of temperature sensor embedded into PCB

Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this study is to design and fabricate a simple passive sensor circuitry embedded into a printed circuit board (PCB) and then to examine its properties. Design/methodology/approach A passive sensor transponder integrated circuit (IC) working in the high frequency (HF) 13.56 MHz frequency band was selected for this study. A loop antenna was designed to make the reported sensor circuitry readable. Next, the sensor circuitry was fabricated and embedded into a PCB with the proposed technolo… Show more

“…Working memory can be maintained for several hours, during which time information is active and can be retrieved, that is, recalled. Through continuous repetition, working memory can retain meaningful information in the brain in the form of neural networks and can form connections with other retained information [ 17 ]. Memory starts from the perception of information, and it forms an instant memory from feeling.…”

“…In order to detect device malfunctions from local temperature growth in critical PCB areas, sensors need to be placed in a number of specific locations. This issue has been discussed by Neiser [ 8 ] and Janeczek [ 9 ] as one of the most challenging tasks in integrating sensors into PCBs. It is often not feasible to use enough local measurement sensors to provide accurate readings of temperature distribution across the whole board.…”
