Investigation of the near-threshold cluster resonance in 14 C

Abstract: An experiment for p( 14 C, 14 C * → 10 Be + α)p inelastic excitation and decay was performed in inverse kinematics at a beam energy of 25.3 MeV/u. A series of 14 C excited states, including a new one at 18.3(1) MeV, were observed which decay to various states of the final nucleus of 10 Be. A specially designed telescope-system, installed around the zero degree, played an essential role in detecting the resonant states near the α-separation threshold. A state at 14.1(1) MeV is clearly identified, being consiste… Show more

“…[28,29] The compressive modulus is decreased with an increase in the amount of PAAc in TRHs, which is attributed to the strength of H-bonding. [30][31][32] To investigate the stretchability, the TRH 1-1 was stretched by various strain levels as shown in Figure S3 (Supporting Information). The representative photographs of the TRH 1-1 under corresponding tensile strain levels shown in Figure S3 (Supporting Information) clearly indicate that the TRH 1-1 can stretch up to 150% and maintain the initial shape without noticeable fracture.…”

“…Serum lysozyme activity, phagocytic activity and bactericidal activity of head kidney leukocytes was correlated with resistance of fish against bacterial infections (Robertsen et al, 1994). Lysozyme activity and PI of Chinese breams wereincreased by OMP 38 recombinant protein of A.s hydrophila in the 14 day of vaccination (Wang,Yang, Zang, Liu & Lu 2013). The recombinant E. tarda proteins of…”

“…Therefore, sleep is an important therapeutic target through all stages of life. Multiple recent studies using transcriptomics, proteomics, phosphoproteomics, or electron microscopy show that synapses of the mouse forebrain undergo widespread and profound remodeling during sleep, or in response to sleep deprivation (Bruning et al, 2019;de Vivo et al, 2017;Diering et al, 2017;Noya et al, 2019;Wang et al, 2018), strongly supporting synapses as a major locus for sleep's restorative effects (Diekelmann and Born, 2010;Tononi and Cirelli, 2014). Sleep and synapses are highly dynamic during development.…”
