Investigate the Effect of Turning Parameters on Tool Wear on Various Cutting Tool Inserts Using Response Surface Methodology

Abstract: The work aims to investigate the effect of turning parameter on tool wear of various cutting tool insert using response methodology. The AISI4340 steel is machined with different cutting tool insert of High Speed Steel (HSS), Carbide, and Cermet by turning process. Speed, feed, depth of cut are selected parameters.
