Investigación sobre fusión de contacto en materiales compuestos laminados Cu/Al

Abstract: ABSTRACT:The study presents investigation of chemical composition, microhardness and electrical conductivity of Cu/Al laminated metal composite after heat treatment at temperatures higher than Cu-Al eutectic melting point. The Cu/Al bimetal was obtained via explosion welding. Chemical composition of the material after heat treatments was identified using EDS analysis. Eddy current testing was applied to investigate electrical conductivity of the composite's components. Strain-hardened zones were identified in … Show more

“…Detailed studies of the features of the formation of diffusion zones (DZ) at the interlayer boundary of explosion-welded copper-aluminum composites under contact melting (CM) conditions are presented in [6][7][8][9], and the values of their thermal and electrical conductivity are obtained. The absence in the literature of data on the heat resistance and temperature dependence of the thermophysical properties of the DZ formed under the conditions of the CM in the LMIC of the Cu-Al system determined the need for research in this area.…”

“…(Akbari Mousavi and Al-Hassani, 2008). Due to the fact that the explosive welding is perfected in a very brief time at high temperature and high pressure (Pronichev et al, 2016). So, it is hard to be seen and measured some data directly in a test, and the time history seems hard to realize as well (Los et al, 2010).…”
