Hiking is a sports activity that takes place in the natural environment. From the point of view of well-being, it is an aerobic activity that prevents and improves cardiovascular diseases. According to data provided by the United Nations, within the framework of the International Year of Mountains, mountain tourism represents around 15% to 20% of total world tourism revenue. This approach aims to critically analyze the scientific production on trail tourism (HT) with contributions from authors from around the world from 1991 to 2022, in order to respond to the connection between this research, knowledge management and the sustainable development of the industry. Key knowledge contributions are examined using a scientometric approach as a method (spatial, production, impact, and relational) based on registry data stored in the Web of Science (JCR and ESCI). Regarding the results, there has been an increase in scientific production in the last decade, which is manifested in the quality of the publications.

Biosphere reserves (BR) balance biodiversity protection and sustainable use through different management restrictions in three zones: core areas, buffer zones, and transition areas. Information about the links between zoning and ecosystem services (ES) is lacking, particularly in terms of the relative roles of natural contributions (ecosystem properties and functions) and anthropogenic contributions (human inputs such as technology and infrastructure) in coproducing ES. This study aimed to: (1) analyse how coproduction of four ES (crop production, grazing, timber production, recreation) differs across the three zones of BRs; and (2) understand which predictors (zoning, natural and anthropogenic contributions, other environmental characteristics) best explain ES provision within BRs. To do this, we collected spatial data on 137 terrestrial BRs in the European Union and on 16 indicators of ES coproduction. We used non-parametric pairwise Wilcoxon rank sum tests to calculate differences in indicators between zones. We used model selection and multiple linear regression to identify predictors of ES provision patterns. Anthropogenic contributions showed most differences between zones, with contributions generally increasing from buffer zones to transition areas. Natural contributions did not, on average, differ between zones, however, for recreation and crop production they decreased from buffer zones to transition areas. ES provision differed between zones only for crop production and grazing, which increased from buffer zones to transition areas. Regression analysis showed that natural contributions are the best predictors of ES provision for all four services. Our results indicate that zoning of BRs has implications for ES coproduction.

Bu çalışmada Giresun kenti parklarının (43 adet) yeterlilikleri ulaşılabilirlik yönünden ele alınmıştır. Mevcut parklar hem ilgili kanun, kurum ve literatür kaynakları çerçevesinde hem de ulaşılabilirlik üzerinde etkili olabilecek konum, arazi yapısı, demografik özellikler ile toplu taşıma olanakları bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. Bu amaçla ArcGIS platformunda raster ve vektör veri analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kent için 24 çocuk bahçesi, 14 mahalle parkı, 4 kent parkı ve 1 adet spor alanı tanımlanırken, parkların ideal hizmet etki alanı yarıçap değerleri sırasıyla 200 m, 500 m, 800 m, 800 m olarak belirlenmiş, 1 dk’lık uygun yürüme mesafesi 80 m olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ulaşım ağına göre parkların maks. 4.5 dk’lık mesafede bulunmaları olumlu bir netice olarak saptanmıştır. Ayrıca 829 ha’lık son ulaşılabilirlik alan değerine göre kentin %65’inden parklara ulaşılabilirliğin sağlandığı ancak ulaşılabilirliğin sağlanması yolunda en büyük engel olarak görülen yüksek eğimli arazi yapısı açısından bir değerlendirme yapıldığında %8’den yüksek eğimli alan oranının ise %61 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak ulaşılabilirlik üzerine etkili olan çevresel faktörlere dikkat çekilerek, kent için ideal park standartları ile bir adet öneri park haritası ortaya koyularak, kentsel yaşam kalitesini geliştirici öneriler sıralanmıştır.
