“…Our findings were limited by the small number of patients and the fact that data were collected retrospectively from patient notes and the study was not a randomised control trial. There was possibly a trend towards delaying retinopathy (albeit not significant) in this study, and there are a few low‐level evidence studies regarding PIB use . Thus, we believe that more studies are needed before we can completely dismiss PIB for treatment and prevention of RR.…”
