Intraneural and Perineural Inflammatory Changes in Piglets After Injection of Ultrasound Gel, Endotoxin, 0.9% NaCl, or Needle Insertion without Injection

Abstract: Perineural gel injections cause significant inflammation. The lack of cytokines suggests injectate-related changes rather than mechanical trauma.
