Internet of things (IoT) based health monitoring system and challenges

Abstract: Among the applications that Internet of Things (IoT) facilitated to the world, Healthcare applications are most important. In general, IoT has been widely used to interconnect the advanced medical resources and to offer smart and effective healthcare services to the people.  The advanced sensors can be either worn or be embedded into the body of the patients, so as to continously monitor their health. The information collected in such manner, can be analzed, aggregated and mined to do the early prediction of d… Show more

“…Failure to establish optimal peak bone mass in young adults and excessive bone loss rate in later stages can lead to the occurrence of osteoporosis, both of which can be improved by a reasonable diet. Increasing the control of controllable factors in the elderly can alleviate the symptoms of osteoporosis [ 33 , 34 ]. The pain itself can reduce the patient's quality of life.…”

“…In short, our health care system including both public and corporate sector are facing issue at every step whether it is: 3 Literature Survey M. Sathya et. al, [1] made a device that can either be worn or be embedded into the body of the patients, so at continuously monitor their health. The information that are being collected can be analyzed, aggregated, and mined to do the early prediction of diseases.…”
