Internationaler Vergleich und interkultureller Transfer Zwei Forschungsansätze zur europäischen Geschichte des 18. bis 20. Jahrhunderts

Abstract: Historikerinnen und Historiker aus allen europäischen Ländern halten sich heutzutage häufiger und länger in den Nachbarstaaten auf, als sie dies jemals zuvor getan haben. Oft schon früh in ihrer Karriere lernen sie andere, fremde Denk-und Verhaltensweisen kennen. Alltagserfahrungen und wissenschaftliche Einsichten fordern sie fast zwingend dazu heraus zu vergleichen.
