Pendidikan karakter merupakan hal yang selalu diperhatikan dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia. Banyak sumber penelitian yang dapat dijadikan referensi dalam pendidikan karakter. Salah satunya adalah lagu. Lagu merupakan sarana yang efektif untuk membawa pesan dari pencipta lagu kepada pendengarnya. Salah satu lagu yang memiliki nilai karakter adalah lagu JKT48 berjudul Pesawat Kertas 365 Hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali nilai-nilai karakter yang dalam lirik lagu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif interpretative dengan metode analisis semiotika model Charles Sanders Peirce yang menganalisis tanda, objek dan interpretant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu tersebut mengandung nilai karakter yaitu mandiri, kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu, peduli sosial, bersahabat, religius, disiplin, percaya diri, menghargai prestasi, tanggungjawab, cinta damai, kreatif, dan peduli lingkungan. Nilai-nilai ini berusaha ditampilkan oleh pencipta lagu untuk menujukkan bahwa manusia harus memiliki semangat dalam menghadapi segala ujian yang datang. Lagu ini memberi pesan bahwa saling tolong menolong sesama manusia merupakan kebaikan yang perlu dilakukan. Hal ini sesuai dengan ciri masyakat Indonesia yang gemar tolong menolong dan bergotong-royong. Nilai karakter dalam lagu ini juga menunjukkan bahwa lagu ini dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran untuk menunjang mata pelajaran di sekolah, misalnya mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Seni Musik dan mata pelajaran lain.

Barongan is a traditional art from Central Java. Barongan that carries mythological animals, lives and develops in the Central Java region, including on the north coast. So, it's important to study about Barongan Performance. The objectives of this researchy are: (1) to analyze the process of Barongan Kusumojoyo Demak art performance, (2) to analyze symbolic interactions in Barongan Kusumojoyo Demak art performance. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research methodology. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, observation, and study documentation. The data analysis technique uses 3 steps of data analysis with functional structural theory. The data validity technique uses triangulation and extension of observation. The performance process in the Barongan Kusumojoyo Arts Demak Regency is in accordance with the purpose of the show. The process of the show that aims for entertainment from certain sponsors, has a different storyline with performances that aim for ritual ceremonies. Symbolic interactions in Barongan art performances appear through symbols in the form of words, objects, and actions. Symbolic interactions occur between players and spectators, players and people who have work, and between players. The novelty in this article is the performance proceess and symbolic interaction in Barongaan in Java Coast that did not exist before.

This article aims to see how the three premises of Blumer's Symbolic Interactionism are able to explain the phenomenon of the Tablighi Jamaat preaching in the form of khuruj and jaulah. The question to be answered in this article is how Tablighi Jamaat interprets the concept of da'wah (preaching), how the meaning constructed and how the meaning maintained or modified. Using the ethnographic method, this study looks at how the three premises of Blumer Symbolic Interactionism work. Based on the findings and results of the analysis, it was found that the construction of the meaning of da'wah in the Tablighi Jamaah was very different from the general understanding of the community. According to the Tablighi Jamaat, da’wah is not a lecture but invites others to obey the rules of Islam. The main purpose of da'wah according to the Tablighi Jamaat is not to improve others but to improve themselves and is obligatory for every Muslim. This series of meaningful constructs has been built since the beginning of this movement, started by Maulana Ilyas. Long before Maulana Ilyas chose and maintained the madrasa as a method of da'wah while continuing to evaluate it to the conclusion that madrasas were not the right solution to improve society as a whole. Furthermore, he applied the methods of da'wah and tabligh which he obtained not from social interaction, but obtained from God's inspired inspiration. Thus, in this phenomenon, the perspective of Blumer Symbolic Interactionism seems to be limited and unable to explain it thoroughly.
