Interaction of triacontanol with other plant growth regulators on morphology and yield of field pea (Pisum sativum L.)

Abstract: The effect of a recent plant growth regulator, triacontanol (TRIA), on plant growth and yield of Pisum sativum L. was investigated. The experiment was carried out under field conditions at the Instituto Nacional de Innovación Agraria (INIA), La Molina, Lima, Peru, using a completely randomized block design with eight treatments and three replicates. Treatments consisted in the foliar application of TRIA alone and in all possible combinations with three plant growth regulators based on auxins (AUX), gibberellin… Show more

“…The use of isolated genetic sources with a certain resistance in breeding, which make it possible to change the pea genome with targeted specific properties, is a modern method for increasing productivity [11]. The timely application of plant protection products and agrochemicals is the main regulator of crop conservation [12][13][14].…”

“…Seeds of Plantago are major source of many secondary metabolites Such as Glycoside, sugars, plantiose and aucbin (4), while pea (Pisum sativum L.) is member of family Fabaceae (Legume) one of advance flowering plant family and cultivated worldwide, cold season annual herb crop. Legumes are the most important due to presence of protein and nutrient for both animals, human, enhance soil fertility by the symbiotic association with nitrogen fixing bacteria and boost the economy of the country (5).…”
