Interaction between lower hybrid waves and energetic ions in a tokamak system

Abstract: This paper presents a numerical quasilinear analysis of the interaction between lower hybrid waves and energetic ions created by radio wave heating in a tokamak environment, discussing conditions which are favourable to significant interaction, and the consequent radial location of energy deposition.
