“…It should be noted that studies present sufficient evidence that sleeping in the supine position reduces the occurrence of sudden infant death. However, a study carried out in the South of Brazil shows that only twenty percent of the mothers interviewed expressed the intention to put their NBs to sleep on their backs (41) .
