Integrated test facility (ITF)-automation testing to support Intel's manufacturing output

Abstract: manuhcturing output. In 1997, the focus is on supporting current factory capacity (fab ramp to 15,000 WSPW, 0.25 micron process automation development and Year 2000 fix), as well as adding carrridge manufhcturing automation system testing. In parallel, continuous improvement of integrated volume test methodologies is being implemented.Maintaining its position as the world's largest manufacturer of semiconductors, Intel increasingly depends upon automation in manufacturing. As rewarding as this technology is, ho… Show more

“…Computerized acceptance engineering in programming approval is to be further enhanced, as work heap of programming acceptance is exceptionally large(accounting for something like 40-50 rate of general advancement cycle), of which the vast majority of the work applies to computerization, so the test change will bring extremely huge results to cost, quality and cycle of the entire programming activities improvement work. As a rule, it is through the improvement of the mechanization apparatuses and the execution of the approval scripts for computerization acceptance to attain the reason for programming quality assessment [3].…”

“…During the course of technology transfer, ''everything which might affect the process, or how it is run'' is copied down to the finest detail, unless it is either physically impossible to do so or there is an overwhelming competitive benefit in introducing a change. This approach introduces new processes or products into the production cycle but should not be applied during technology development, which requires creativity and innovation [4].…”
