A conceptual framework for manufacturing service provisioning by virtual fabs

Abstract: Fast growth of foundry fabs, fierce global competition and advancements of information technology have motivated in the semiconductor industry the concept of Virtual Fab (VF) with emphasis on manufacturing service provisioning.
