Integrated Endoscope for Real-Time 3D Ultrasound Imaging and Hyperthermia: Feasibility Study

Abstract: The goal of this research is to determine the feasibility of using a single endoscopic probe for the combined purpose of real-time 3D (RT3D) ultrasound imaging of a target organ and the delivery of ultrasound therapy to facilitate the absorption of compounds for cancer treatment.
