Intake, performance, carcass traits and meat quality of goats grazing in the Caatinga rangeland

Abstract: Spineless cactus provided higher supplement intake for grazing goats. Supplements based on spineless cactus provided greater non-fibrous carbohydrates intake. The highest CP intake occurred in goats supplemented with mororó hay associated with spineless cactus. Food supplementation did not influence goat meat quality.
