Insult of nobility in Dvina charter

Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue of protecting personal honor and dignity during the period of validity of the Dvina Charter (13971398). The text of the Charter explains that insult of nobility, which means a dismissive (negative) assessment of a person and personal behavior in relation to someone class affiliation made in verbal form or by certain actions, is under the criminal-legal prohibition.
