Instrument Landing System Error Analysis and Simulation of Calibration Flight

Abstract: To ensure the fidelity of the ILS signal, the errors must be strictly controlled. The benchmark calibration flight precision control had very few attentions as the criterion. Therefore, through the computer to build a relatively complete set of airport simulation environment, we can design a control system and intuitive way to monitor the signal used to get rid of a variety of factors lead to errors. This showed the calibration results were unstable. The insightful significance is that this provides a guidelin… Show more

“…4. Schematic illustration of typical localizer receiver [33] In an ordinary heterodyne Amplitude Modulation (AM) Receiver, the obtained localizer signal is processed like the schematic illustration shown in Figure 4 contains the rays emitted from the undesired and desired localizer. Since the two, undesired and desired localizer lay inside the similar frequency ranges, the signals will be processed by the receiver [34].…”

“…XH Zhang, WQ Feng, SL Xiang calculated the radius and gap of the first Fresnel zone of the ground station and the electromagnetic environment radiation distribution through the single wedge model, and abstracted the general theoretical model [5]. JQ Ye, F Liang, J Liu assessed the electromagnetic environment of navigation equipment for new or expanded airports through passive assessments such as gap analysis, Fresnel area analysis, and simulation analysis [6].Zhang, Y Hui build a relatively complete airport simulation environment by computer, can design a set of control system and monitor the signals used to get rid of the errors caused by various factors in an intuitive way, and provide a good foundation for the visualization and integration of complex electromagnetic environments Guide [7]. Geise et al discussed the scaling model and believed that the model can be used to analyze the influence of electromagnetic interference on the ILS system [8], but this is very dependent on the stability of the environment.…”
