Instrument Development: Chinese Radiometric Benchmark of Reflected Solar Band Based on Space Cryogenic Absolute Radiometer

Abstract: Low uncertainty and long-term stability remote data are urgently needed for researching climate and meteorology variability and trends. Meeting these requirements is difficult with in-orbit calibration accuracy due to the lack of radiometric satellite benchmark. The radiometric benchmark on the reflected solar band has been under development since 2015 to overcome the on-board traceability problem of hyperspectral remote sensing satellites. This paper introduces the development progress of the Chinese radiomet… Show more

“…The asymmetrical structure of the collimation and imaging systems increases the degree of freedom to optimize the system and corrects imaging aberrations to improve image quality. Although diffracted light from the prism and grating is deviated in the opposite direction to the incident light, the dispersion direction remains the same [19]. By combining them into a refractive-diffractive hybrid spectrometer element, the deflection angle of the incident and outgoing light of a certain wavelength can be adjusted to zero [20].…”

“…Так, у роботах [3][4] досліджено метод та експериментальне встановлення калібрування пасткового піроелектричного детектора за кріогенним радіометром БНМ-ІНМ на трьох довжинах хвиль лазера у видимому діапазоні. Було запропоновано розширити вимірювання абсолютної чутливості електрично відкаліброваного піроелектричного детектора з пасткою (пастка EPD) в діапазоні 350-1850 нм за рахунок спектроскопічних вимірювань відбивної здатності.…”

“…Space remote sensing instruments not only play an important role in earth observation, but also hold significant importance in space exploration and cosmic research. They can be used to observe planets, stars, galaxies, and other celestial bodies, helping to unravel the mysteries of the universe and advancing our understanding of the cosmos [6][7][8][9][10][11]. Due to their capability to simultaneously capture two-dimensional or three-dimensional spatial information along with spectral information of targets, space remote sensing instruments provide powerful data resources that have a profoundly significant impact on the development of remote sensing science and modern scientific and technological applications.…”
