“…The findings of our study suggest a range of possible avenues for researchers from the Dinaric region to investigate and explore in more depth, including further analysis of not only the early numeracy variables recognized in the literature as meaningful predictors of mathematics achievement (e.g., symbolic versus non-symbolic mathematical competencies) but also the measures that might provide a deeper understanding of parental attitudes and practices.
