Innovative approach for purification of wastewater effluent via soil filtration

Abstract: This study examined the feasibility of tertiary treatment for the effluent of the wastewater treatment plants through filtration into soil layers and pumping it for reuse. The research adopted experimental measurements and modelling works to simulate treating wastewater effluents by surrounding soil layers.
