Abstract:The infrared spectra of 2,34imethylaniline in different phases have been recorded in the region 4000-100 cm-'. In the solid phases at 223 and 123 K, however, the spectra were recorded in the region 4000-400 cm-' only. Raman spectra with polarization measurements have been recorded and investigated for the first time. New frequency assignments are proposed, assuming the molecule to possess an approximate C, symmetry; 52 out of a possible 54 normal modes in the molecule have been observed and assigned, including… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
